Make the evidence
easy to see.
Our initial lists are desk research from official US product pages. We have not bought or personally tested these nine products, and no reader should mistake brand claims for independent results.
Choose a category.
Shampoo, conditioner and body wash answer different questions. We keep those decisions separate, then compare a small number of identifiable products in each category.
Check the primary source.
We record the exact product name, variant, published formula or use details and an official US product-page URL in one catalog. Every analysis links back to that page and carries a checked date.
Explain the fit.
Our editorial judgment considers fragrance approach, stated hair or skin fit, use context and the clarity of source information. The list order makes different use cases easy to compare; it is not a lab-tested performance ranking.
Show the limits.
Each product page separates brand-published facts, our interpretation and what has not been independently verified. We do not show invented ratings, testimonials, real-time prices or universal “best” claims.
Evidence labels
Four types. No mixing.
Only the first and fourth types are used in the initial product analyses; the others require actual underlying records.
Brand-published fact
A named product page states a formula, size, directions or positioning. We cite it and do not present it as our test.
Time-stamped snapshot
A price or availability observation with a captured date and market. We do not currently publish these as live prices.
Hands-on sample
A documented product sample and repeatable observation. None has been used for these launch lists.
Illustration or demo
Editorial imagery helps explain the site. Our neutral still lifes and drawings are not actual product photography.
